INTERMARK (USA), INC. (IM) was established in 1990, as the USA branch operation for KITAGAWA Industries Co., LTD (KG). Based in Nagoya, Japan, KITAGAWA was founded in 1955 (public owned company since 1996) and became soon a leading worldwide supplier for a variety of components for the electronic industry.

The product lines comprise a wide range of ferrite products for the EMI suppression, cable shielding materials, grounding fasteners and conductive gaskets. Other product line segments include a complete selection of plastic fasteners and hardware for the electronic packaging, optical fiber inspection equipment and thermal management components.

Many of the IM products in the EMI/ESD range are unique in terms of technical characteristics and quality and were introduced on the market by KG, who registered international patents for these original parts.

The annual KG Techno-Fare Symposium, specialized in EMC/EMI/ESD/Thermal Management, is organized and hosted by KITAGAWA, Co. in Japan since 1985 and became a traditional event for the electronic industry worldwide.
