FLAT CABLE SHIELD JACKET ( FRCSR Series )

• Conductive aluminum foil provides effective EMI shielding at low cost.

• Insulating outer layer offers electrical and environmental protection to the cables.

• Pressure sensitive adhesive tape for convenient closing. No tool needed for installation on cable.

• Lightweight, flexible material offers excellent conformability on various cable configurations.

• Easy to terminate for grounding circuit connections at the ends of the cable.

• Easy installation on connected cables in original design or retrofit applications on interface/data lines for effective EMI shielding against internal/external radiated emissions and full compliance with the international EMC regulations for electronic equipment.

• Shielding effectiveness (average):
      105 dB at 2 MHz - 1 GHz

• Materials:
      Conductive layer: Aluminum foil - thickness 10 µm (0.0004 in.)
      Insulation:
      PET film - thickness 25 µm (0.001 in.)
      PVC film - thickness 100 µm (0.004 in.)
      Flame retardant materials

• Standard length: 960mm (3 ft.)
      Custom lengths (cut to size) also available.

• Shielding jacket available on request with grounding wire terminals
      pre-attached to one or both ends.

• The jacket comes pre-folded for flat cables as per dimension "A".
      Materials can be optionally supplied flat.
